Amber Community Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We have been providing the community with help applying for the city, state, and federal benefits since 2017. We make every effort to help and spread knowledge on information pertaining to low-income individuals/families and senior citizens and the benefits they are entitled too. Some of these benefits include but are not limited to: SNAP, Cash Assistance, Rental Assistance, Reduced fare metro cards, Social security retirement, supplemental security income, Social security disability, Medicaid, Medicare, Citizenship/Naturalization application, Marriage based green card, Marriage abandonment based green card, Employment Authorization, Unemployment, apartment application (low-income, senior, section 8, Mitchell Llama, and others), Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption, Disability Rent Increase Exemption, home care, day care(social and medical), and many more.
We offer assistance with different types of applications such as government assistance programs, Medicaid/ Medicare, SSDI, and more. Medicaid applications have stipulations which can be easily overlooked and result in the applicant to be denied benefits. Many members who find us have been denied benefits and we have helped them acquire the assistance they need!
There is a common misunderstanding regarding Medicaid and who can apply. Do you meet the Medicaid income threshold? Are you making more than the listed income threshold? You may still be eligible to apply for Medicaid and qualify!
